Greenville, SC Chalk Paint Furniture
Born and raised in Greenville, SC, Taylor Roberson spent almost her entire life painting (she has the second grade art contest trophy to prove it), but shifted her focus towards painting furniture in 2009. As a first-time homeowner desperately accepting any and all hand-me-downs of various quality from any eager relative or friend, Taylor took on the challenge of transforming those tired pieces. She began hand painting furniture for those same eager relatives and friends who now saw the potential of what their existing furniture could be, and eventually falling in love with chalk paint due its charm.
Taylor specializes in hand-painted furniture using milk- and chalk-based paints.
The Dropped Leaf is an homage to the first true antique piece Taylor ever refinished: a $30 Craigslist find she later discovered was a vintage Brandt Drop-Leaf Table.
